As we end out the month, proud to donate a portion of my income to March’s selected local nonprofit, The Portland Kitchen! TPK offers free, comprehensive culinary after-school and summer programming to Portland high school youth, age 14-18, whose mission is to empower urban youth to graduate high school with job skills and improved eating habits. I’ve volunteered with them and have seen first hand the impact they’ve had, especially with at-risk youth, here in Portland.
